Main goals

Increasing complexity in global supply chains is making them inefficient, vulnerable, and unsustainable. At Logistiks, our strategic vision and main goal are to become the Global Integrator, offering truly integrated logistics solutions that connect, protect, and simplify our customers’ supply chains.

The history of dynamic and progressive thinking

LOGISTIKS history has been characterised by far-reaching decisions and progressive thinking. It is a story of a dynamic, internationally oriented company with an unwavering appreciation of customer needs.

1972
Foundation

LOGISTIKS EXPRESS DELIVERY was established on 16 April 1972, in the midst of the second industrial revolution, in a little town called Svendborg on the Danish island of Funen.

1974
consolidation

The golden circumstances of trade and shipping that emerged during the First World War helped to establish LOGISTIKS as a leading shipping company in Denmark. In these lucrative conditions, the business quickly expanded to include brokerage, shipbuilding, liner shipping, and tanker trade, as well as a sugar plantation, and investments in a range of other industrial activities.

1979
Expansion

Today, LOGISTIKS connects every part of the world. But in 1972, there was just one LOGISTIKS Line route covering three countries: the USA, Japan, and the Philippines. New routes into South East Asia followed, first to China, then Thailand, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, India, and the Persian Gulf.
